Your duties as a Combination Morning/Evening Warehouse Employee in Den Hoorn:

• Loading and unloading:

  You load and unload vans and trucks, check packages, and place them on the correct roll container or conveyor belt so the sorting process runs smoothly.

• Sorting shipments:

  You scan and sort packages by postcode and destination, so each shipment reaches the right depot or courier on time.

• Quality and safety:

  You follow safety regulations, keep your workplace tidy, and report damaged or irregular shipments to prevent errors and delays.

• Teamwork and communication:

  You continually coordinate with colleagues and supervisors, help where needed, and actively contribute to a good atmosphere on the work floor.

• Working flexibly across shifts:

  You work 6 to 12 hours per week in morning and/or evening shifts and take on various tasks, depending on the workload and schedule.

• Shifts starting at 08:00, 09:00, 11:00 or 13:00, with clear schedules.
• 8% holiday pay and 10% holiday hours for every hour worked, on top of your regular wage.
• A flex budget of 6,24% per hour worked, to use for extra income or time off.
• Travel expense reimbursement of €0,23 per kilometre, so your travel costs are properly compensated.

What we ask of you

You are a reliable, fit warehouse employee who smoothly combines study, work and private life and enjoys working together in an energetic team.

• Available for at least 20 hours per week, with flexibility as well
• Fully available during the summer holidays, with no long absences
• Physically strong: able to lift and move packages up to 20 kg
• MBO level 1 and a good command of Dutch or English
• Team player: collegial, accurate and motivated to work together
• Willing to work on location in Den Hoorn
