About the work

This is a full-time warehouse worker position in Delft. You start your workday at 07:00 or 08:00 in the warehouse. Together with a team of experienced colleagues, you make sure incoming building materials are put in the right place and orders are ready for customers on time. You use a forklift and reach truck to move materials such as wood, bricks, plasterboard, insulation, cement products and roof tiles. You also check delivery notes and ensure orders are processed completely and correctly.

During the day, you load and unload lorries and help regular customers collect their orders. You enjoy speaking with customers and make sure they receive fast and professional assistance. You work closely with colleagues who have worked at the company for many years and are happy to share their knowledge.

You mainly work from the branch in Delft, but sometimes also support a nearby location. The distance between the two locations is short, and a bicycle is provided for this. This adds variety to your work and contact with different colleagues.

You will join a family business with an informal working atmosphere where collaboration is central. Everyone is treated equally, and respectful interaction with colleagues and customers is highly valued. Because you work with specialist structural building materials and have frequent contact with colleagues and customers, good command of Dutch is important.

Working days are Monday to Friday. You work according to a changing schedule from 07:00 to 16:00 or from 08:00 to 17:00. In addition, you work one to a maximum of two Saturdays per four weeks from 08:00 to 12:00. You must be available all day on Wednesday. Alongside a pleasant working atmosphere, there is considerable attention to employees: fresh fruit is provided weekly, milk is available at lunch, a chilled drink can be taken daily, and a sandwich is provided every Wednesday.
